Looking for Great Repair Shop, I'm desperate

I've been trying to get my 92 F150 4x4 5.0L, 4R70W running again. I had posted earlier threads ("I really don't want to take my truck to the Dealer" & HELP Camshaft firing order confusion"), and received a lot of great advice. I've come to the conclusion I most likely have about 20 to 30 gallons of bad fuel. I for some stupid reason filled my tank shortly before doing an engine swap and than had scheduled back surgery. So basically the fuel sat for almost six months. Seems like Fuel just doesn't hold up very long anymore. I figure I may have some other minor issues like timing. I've done a pretty thorough job checking wiring and replaced every single sensor during and after the swap including neutral safety switch for the 4R70W. Checked wiring pin by pin from sensor to the EEC.
With my lower back now fused and living with my very patient daughter it's time for me to get professional help... and find a good, no, great mechanic.

Can anybody recommend a shop with current, expert experience on these old, but challenging trucks? Which I personally believe we're some of Ford's finest after the mid seventies destroyed the automobile and light truck industry for a decade.

I live in Simi Valley, California. So I can afford to tow it about 30 to 50 miles. That gives me areas like the San Fernando Valley, Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, Oxnard, Ventura areas.
Thanks in advance for your help.

California, Southern Chapter - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

That's the southern ca chapter.

Look up member rotun and see what he drives. He is in Simi Valley also.
That map has a few guys a little ways away from your surrounding area as well.
