F350 Ride and Handling Killing Me
I traded and 08 F250 4x4 6.4 Diesel for a 2013 F350 4x4 6.2 gasser a few months ago and have become very frustrated with the ride and handling of the new truck.
Just returned from a 400 mile round trip and I am beat.
This truck rides so stiff and is what I call "squirrely" as hell with handling.
The following are differences between the two trucks I assume contribute to my issue.
2013 F350
1 ton suspension with the upgraded front spring camper package.
"E"rated 295/70/18 tires with 65 lbs in fronts and 80 in the rears.
Front steering stabilizer sucks. Truck is all over the road.
2008 F250
3/4 ton suspension with no upgraded springs.
"D" rated 325/60/20 with 65lbs in both front and rear.
Additionally, the truck really hesitates when you get in the gas in situations such as merging on to an interstate or passing another vehicle.
Of course the fuel mileage is terrible at about 11 to 12 mph max no matter what driving conditions. I do however have the 4.30 rear end which I am sure contributes to this issue.
At this point in my ownership, I have been really disappointed and wish I would have kept the 08.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have heard a lot of good feedback on the Carli system but as you state, it is expensive. I have also considered the Bilstien shock and steering stabilizer.
I purchased the 350 and camper package with the intent to eventually purchase a truck camper but I never thought the truck would have such an unpleasant ride. The 08 was smooth as silk.
