New Guy
I live in Sonoma county. My son (16 yo) and I are putting together a 1962 Unibody as his first car, lucky kid. My first car was a 1963 Falcon Sprint and I later had a 1964 International Travelall, I did extensive work on both cars. Now we have this cool Ford and it came out of a barn, no motor , no tranny, etc. I'm hoping to keep track of the experience here, posts, pics, and hope fully garner some advice here and there. I like the idea about a local chapter, at least as local as half the state. We live in Sonoma county and hopefully can meet some local folks here. Thanks, Greg

Hello Greg,
Nothing better than a father/son project to further strengthen the bond between you two. Would love to see pics of the build as it comes along. Yeah, our state is so big, I guess they decided to split the state into two chapters. Good idea because it makes having get togethers easier to get to (in theory anyway LOL). Hope to see you post more on here, when you get to 25 posts, I can invite you to join the chapter. Of course, I may do it earlier than that if I see you post with regularity.

Please do post pics. We all would enjoy your sharing the experience of your son's and your project. BTW, that is just awesome, that you can do that with your kid. When my son was growing up I was always on the road fighting fires. Now, I wish I could have all of those days back so we could do something like this. Build and savor memories, I'm looking forward to following the progress.
Oh, and BTW, welcome to FTE Northern Cal !
