Part it or Restore it?

So i came into possession of two trucks that i planned on using for parts and selling whatever i dont use. Well after looking the trucks over im having second thoughts about whether i should part one of them or not.
It is an f4 with the original v8. It has the 5 start extra cab and im pretty sure that it has lock ring wheels and not the widow makers. It also has the factory ford flatbed. All the parts are there, its just kinda rough. the front sheet metal is better on the second truck so i could use that stuff from that truck. The door on both trucks are rough. The cas are kinda opposite. On the f4, the top cab seam is rotted out and on the f6, the floor is pretty much gone so it would need alot of work there. I think i have enough parts between the two to make a nice truck but i dont know if i want to take on the project. Im already deep into my f1 and want to focus on that so it would be a few years until i could get to the f4. What do you guys think? The other truck by the way is an f6 that used to have a dump bed on it. It has a two speed rear and has a flat 6.

I'd part it out. It's way too rusty, IMO, opinion to restore. You have a lot of good, fairly hard to find parts on it. Just my 2¢.

That looks like a great parts truck to me.

See if you can figure out what axle ratio the F-4 has. It likely has a higher speed ratio that the folks with F-5 or F-6 trucks have.

Take a close look a the 6 in the F-6. It may be the larger displacement M series engine.

There's virtually no market for the bigger trucks restored. You'd never get anywhere close to your money out of it when you tried to sell it. They make far better parts trucks than resto projects. And both of yours appear to be great candidates for helping keep others on the road. You can't save them all.
