Good to know. Thanks for the info, guys. And BigBlockF350- I particularly like your solution of using the torch lighters for soldering- never even considered that. I've seen the truck mechanics @ work use butt connectors that have heat shrink and the internal glue "built" into them, and they use the torch lighters for that.

As for a regular bic- it's all I've got for heat shrink, so yeah, I make sure to keep that flame moving.
