Don't let me redline my Vulcan!
This is my first post to the forum, so be nice!
I have a 2000 Ranger 3.0 (manual) with a SuperChip and K&N intake installed and a Gibson exhaust on order. Now that I have a bit more power, I’d like to take advantage of it. Unfortunately, I don’t have a tach. I plan on installing one, but it’s not going to do me a lot of good since I don’t know the redline or the hp/torque curves.
This information has to out there, somewhere! Can anyone help me find it?
Thanks in advance!

Don't let me redline my Vulcan!
My Taurus Vulcan usually shifts around 5,200 RPMs for 1-2, and usually around 5,300 at the 2-3 shift. One time when it was cold outside (Engine was warm, don't worry) the car was running incredible, and I hit 5,500 RPMs before it shifted. If you've never heard a Vulcan sing at high RPMs, you haven't heard a V-6 yet
I don't think the Vulcan really has a factory set redline, it just seems to have a fuel shutoff at 5,500 RPMs.
