My friend, who is a Ford heavy truck/diesel mechanic, acquired a running [mostly original] 1986 F150 short wheelbase from a local utility company. He does not need it and is willing to part out. It, reportedly, has 61,000 miles and has the original white paint, which has surface rust, and drives well.


I will list some of the highlights as I recall and if you are interested in anything, PM me and I will give you his contact information. He can email photos. He is a straight shooter and easy to deal with.


4.9L engine, which runs well [still has computer feedback system].
C6 transmission
Tires are poor / mismatched hubcaps
Water pump is making noise
Body is straight
Bed is good
Tailgate is good

 

I just spoke with my friend and he said the tailgate is not "good" as I listed. I apologize for the misinformation.
