glove box springs
Has anyone tried changing the glove box springs? I bought a new set and noticed that one spring has one thicker end than the other spring ends. Is one meant to go on a particular side? Since I don't have an old one on one side, it's hard to tell which is supposed to go where.

Thanks for the pic! it is helpful. After crawling around under the dsah some more, it does look now like the spring with the thicker end is on the left side of the glove box when facing the dash. I'm going to try to remove and replace the springs tomorrow, so I'll report back how that went!

Mission accomplished! Got the springs on without removing the glove box or the heater. Not much room for my hands under the dash while up side down. The thicker tipped springs goes on the left side as you face the glove box and the thinner on the right. The trick was to put the spring on the bottom hinge first then attach it to the top. Glove box door closes nice and tight now.
