Is this a factory seat?

I just brought home a 90 F150 XLT SCSB. It has the jump seats in back which is awesome but I'm wondering about the front. It has a "Flexsteel" badge on the side. The floor brackets look professional but I've never seen this seat in a truck of this era before and the color is not a great match.

That front seat is what you said it was FLEXSTEAL, not Ford.
The rear jump seat is the rare optional jump seat

I don't think they are factory, probably came out of a conversion like a Centurion or similar

Interesting. The front seats are pretty trashed but those brackets will be useful for installing my 05 Mercury seats in the F250.

I love those jump seats but I'll need to find one of the rubber bumpers they close against, which there are none on ebay now.

That's not encouraging. Might have to get creative.

Maybe the Ranger used the same or a similar part.

Thanks for the tip. I can't tell from pics but it's a possibility. I wonder what the chance is of a Ford dealer having some around still?

My '91 has the jump seats and they are godsend. As my boys have gotten older the jumpseats afford a lot more legroom for them than the usual bench seat.

I bet. I remember when I was a teen my dad had a 84 SCLB that the family took on a 3k mile round trip vacation. I was right about 6ft tall at the time and that regular back seat was miserable shared with my brother.

Ah ha! My local Ford dealer has one of those seat bumpers in stock for $51 according to fordparts.com. More than I really want to pay but if that's my only option at least I have an option. They also have the entire seat assemblies for $400 each. Too rich for my blood but for those that just have to have one, there you go.

As fate would have it, there was not one but two SC's with jump seats at the boneyard today. Got my bumper for $3.
