8.8 rear end noise

Unhappy 8.8 rear end noise

well just joined to see if anyone can help, i have 97 f150 with 8.8 rear end replaced axle bearings and seals also found diff. wiggled so replaced those bearings also cleaned all parts put back together test drove and i have harmonic noise from rear end at all different speeds is it possible that my pinion dont like the tight parts?

If the whole carrier was moving is no wonder you have noises.
Are you not awhere that specific set up is required for the whole setup.
You need to adjust shim packs each side so the carrier bearings are preloaded correctly.
You need the ring and pinion contact patch area correct or wear and noise results.
Ring to pinion backlash needs to be set along with involving all these settings.
A dial indicator, micrometer and knowing what your doing is the key.
At the least it needs to come back apart and set up correctly hoping no damage has been done.
