Yeah and I worked 6 days last week.

 

Three in a row is about enough for me. An extra day now and again is ok. Just not on a regular basis. The money for that extra day is nice.

 

I guess they are going to keep the temporary people until after the 4th of July..

 

That should be nice while it lasts. Maybe they will decide to keep a couple.

 

I think they will. One of the older guys is becoming unavailable a lot.. He missed 3 days last week.

 

It's hard on everyone when that happens. I don't think many realize that. It's not so bad if they have a legit reason for missing time. I have no problem with some extra load. It's the ones that do it just to do it that bugs me.

 

He was having baby sitter problems.. He had just gotten custiody of his daughter. Got called into work one night along with another person. So theer were 2 closing, Next night there were 5 and Friday I was the only one closing.. A really screwed up schedule.

 

Maybe not such good planning on the bosses part.

I'd offer to babysit so he could come to work and I could call in. He could pay me. I could eat all his junk food. Win/win.

 

He doesn't make that much that he could afford you.. He only nworks part time.

True. I am expensive but I'm good. I don't think babysitters/daycare are overly cheap now a days.

 

I think it would be a TOTAL loss for him if he had you eat all of his Junk Food!!!
