Dogwood. I can't spell or pronounce the kind it was. Apparently it's damn rare. I can point you to where there is one that could be easily pulled out of the ground.

Could be but I really don't know. I'm still learning the art of getting up in them and getting them down. Learning names and diseases comes later.

Brings back some memories Pete!

I've been a few of those blitzes in the past when I drove for Roehl and CFI; they're overrated if you ask me. I've only been inspected twice in my driving career, and none of them happened during one of these nationwide enforcement events. Those who run compliant and maintain their equipment have nothing to worry about.

That would be us at work...but DOT loves to F the self employed guy in the F550 towing a bobcat. Hence why we have the guys in the F150 leave before us so they let us know if DOT is out and about. I sense lots of backroads in the next 3 days

Carrier Overview

Exactly why I'm concerned.

Although our maintenance percentage has gotten better over the past 6 months or so. Used to be a 49.5% fail rate. Down to 37.8%

They usually check our lights paperwork and breakaways and send us on our way though.

I have been inspected a few times over the years and as tom said not during the blitz. I have also been let go and not been inspected because the inside of the cab was spotless. The officer said that if I cared enough to clean it, I likely care enough to pre trip the truck before driving.

Miles, you better be careful if your driving the 550. If you are heavy enough to get inspected, then you are required to have a med card.

Its an expensive ticket, trust me, and a lot of people don't realize they are supposed to have the med card until the ticket is bring written
