04 Navigator Lift Gate

04 Navigator Lift Gate
Hi all, I have an 04 Navigator I am getting ready to paint for a customer. I had the liftgate opened and was removing the two outside nuts that hold the rear lenses into the gate. Apparently I moved the gate enough for it to start an automatic close. I had air lines and tools in the rear and as it started to close I stopped it. Now it won't close or anything by the switch. I have checked the fuses and the ones I've found via the manual and this site are all good. I didn't know if there might be a reset, a way to reset, a relay or anything. Any ideas and help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Rog

Yea I did that right after I checked the fuses. I did a 30 minute timeout. All the overhead switches work with the exception of the gate switch. I wouldn't think that stopping it would cause any damage to it. When I grabbed it as it was closing I didn't really apply much pressure at all and it stopped instantly
