OT My buddy needs a 51 ford car hood BAD!

He must not have latched it all the way and while driving it blew up and folded on him. Way beyond repair. So i'm just trying to help a brother out. He said 49 and 50 would work as well. Once again it's a 51 ford tudor. I told him to drive it without the hood. might look cool.

'51 has a different hood than 49 - 50. Check Shoeboxford.com
left to right, 49 - 50 - 51

Weird, i replied to the thread last night and it didnt show up. Anyways, to correct what i said, His car IS a 49 and he had a 51 hood with a 51 grille. There's a guy who makes an insert to fill the round front in the older hoods but it kinda looks chinsy. I guess everything else is the same on those hoods except the round part. but i'm no expert on 49-51 cars..

Go to www.shoeboxford.com. They'll fix you up. They also have a very active forum, but you have to register to even look at it.

Edit: Sorry Ross, I didn't see where you mentioned their website.
