Don't buy a kit. Take it down to your local muffler shop and let them weld up something custom. It will be cheaper, and easier.

I thought there was a huge thread on here recently. I was interested and the bottom line to me was that if one doesn't have to have the noise it is a sound decision to leave the exhaust alone.

I was back and forth on this topic.....a few weekends ago I took the muffler just to get an idea of the sound.......it was not for me and being that I never run across any 6.2's in my area and never a 6.2 with an exhaust system I have decided to leave it alone.

The more I drive the truck the more I really like the stock tone.....I think its just right. I used to like a lil more exhaust note and my previous truck sounded good but got a lil annoying when towing long trips. I have 3 other vehilces with loud exhaust so I like my nice truck to be quite...

im wanting duals on my truck and im not a fan of stock exhaust, i like a good sounding exhaust. i noticed these trucks have 3.5 inch exhaust and every kit is like 3 inch besides banks and those are 4 inch

I did just that. Its just a touch louder than I like but I am 50 years old. If I was 30 it would be perfect. As a side note, I added a rouch intake after I did the straight pipe and that made the exhaust sound better.
