Building a new motor

My 351M finally blew so I'm building a 460.
Already have motor, belt drive timing conversion with 20deg of cam adjustment, cam, lifters, 1.8 ratio stainless roller rockers, valve covers, intake, full gasket set, HVHP oil Pump, HD shaft

Ordering aluminum heads.

Looking for good headers (78 2wd 460 auto) I can modify and coat but must be one piece flange, thicker the better.

Debating on which style of water pump to run and which accessory style.

Can't figure out how to post an F-ing pic on this site

Occasionally nice sets of Sanderson headers come up on EBay for cheaper than that, the ceramic coated block huggers are nice but if money wasn't an issue I would order Doug Thorely tri-Y coated.

i can't help you on the parts, but for posting pics here, all you have to do is upload your pics to photobucket or another hosting site, then link to them here, preferably with the [img] code around the links so it shows up in the text as a pic not a link

Uhh a bloody whoda whada?

I got myself some Hooker Headers from eBay, oddly enough it was from the summit seller but it was a lower price than on summits parts catalog... The flanges seem pretty thick and the pipes are nice but I don't know headers like you guys might but they might be worth looking into.

I've been watching them on EBay and already ordered a couple things from Summit that way, was hoping tofind a good used set, I have a guy that does Vera-coating so getting a good set blasted and coated isn't an issue

I was thinking of having the outside of my turbo exhaust side housing
coated if I can find an extra one to have them work on.
This is who I was thinking of do it.
Jet-Hot Ceramic Coatings
I am not after the look but keeping the heat out of the engine compartment.

Vera coating is a fairly new thing but the durability is bet than Jet coat. I just happen to know the only guy in western wa that does it.

How is it for holding heat to one side?
Because that is what I need it to do.
Keep the heat in the turbo and out
of the engine bay.
I would be willing to look into it.

Have been trying to do responses on my phone on the go and misspelling quite a bit.

Cerakote is the correct name of the coating. They have MANY different styles, everything to gun coatings to Piston coatings and friction coatings, headers, chemical resistance ect ect

Sorry it took so long, been busy.

The business number for the Cerakote guy is 866-774-7628

Found out the motor I bought to use the short block was junk, looks like it had spark plugs come apart in 4, yes 4! of the cylinders and the pistons like like ground beef. But the guy I bought it from is refunding me cause he thought it was a good motor, it's nice to find honest people.
