I have a problem with my right turn signal on a trailer. i checked my left signal at the 4 pin hook up at bumber and my left is hot but the right is not hot. I have no idea were I need to look

 

Without knowing what year and model you have, look at fuse 19 in the engine bay box.
Looking at it from the side, lower left end are two small fuses.
First one is #21, the next inward is #19 a 10 amp.
Use your owner manual and look on pages 210/211.
