He will do fine. I remember you saying he is not big on WHOA so see if you can keep him close with eye contact. I make these basteerds look me in the eye.

Have fun.

Well I didn't go hunting the other day but I got out this morning. Had a pair come in and the one had JEWERLY! So I took it, my GSP popped his waterfowl/water retrieve/goose/band cheery all at one time. I couldn't be happier how he is doing at waterfowl considering his whole life has been nothing but upland training and hunting

i went out four times duck hunting so far with him and hes done very well oddly... he just sits on the bow where he was with the goose picture and just looks out in the water LOL. He doesnt make any noise or anything, when i call he just looks up for the birds and when i stand up to shoot he just stays there till i get out of the boat and tell him here, very odd cuz like i said when he uplands he locks up on point fine but when you shoot he doesnt WHOA and stay all the time like he should.

New job had me working seven days a week since December so I never got again hunting waterfowl or upland!! My brother took my dog five or six times upland for pheasant to get him hunting. I have no pics but he did great from what i was told, my brother and his buddy ate all birds taken during them outings
