Cab Lights
#31
Bad news fellas, while the headliner is easy to reupholster, doing one in a crew cab truck involves removing either the rear window or the windshield. Removing the rear window really isn't all that bad a job. Heck this monkey has done a couple of them and I haven't broken one yet (knock on wood). You do have to remove it though, because it won't go out through the door.

Heard that Tyler got the lights today. Hope they arrived safely(he will check later after some other stuff)!
Since im on photobucket already I figured id share some pics.
Heres the lights/harness.
Here is the location beneath the passengers kick panel. You can see the far right i pulled off the connector the lights.
It was weird though... I got 4 good cab lights off of one truck and went to get the harness out and it was on the drivers side kick panel...
That was on a box/ambulance OBS though.... Cant remember exactly, but it wasnt the standard truck.
So I went to get the other lights from another and snagged that harness in its usual location.

I had them added at some point before my buddy bought it.the power was run to the fuse block with a nasty mud covered external fuse holder with wire stuck in dimmer circuit.so the clearence lights dimmed with dash lights lol.and at some point the wire burned up and was melted into a pillar trim...it had been repkaced but the damage is very visible.I'm very happy to have it run inside the pillar correctly and to correct location!
