EDGE INSIGHT

I HAVE A INSIGHT CS AND ALL OF A SUDDEN IT JUST STOPPED WORKING I HAVE UNPLUGGED IT NUMEROUS TIMES LEFT IT UNPLUGGED AND IT STILL WONT POWER ON. I BOUGHT THIS LESS THAN A YEAR AGO.

HAS ANYONE ELSE EVER HAD THIS PROBLEM?

YES I HAD THIS PROBLEM ONCE, I UNPLUGGED IT, STOPPED YELLING AT IT, PLUGGED IT BACK IN & AND IT WORKED...LOL

Seriously, mine quit after 1 1/2 years so I was SOL on the warranty. I replaced it with a Scanguage II. Did you verify that your DLC isn't the problem?

Check your cigarette lighter fuse. It also powers the data connection.

All caps when typing is considered yelling. Redford has the right idea about the fuse for the cig lighter.

Only other option is warranty with Edge.

sorry everyone for yelling i had just got into work and had to do some stuff that caps were on.

yes i also emailed edge about this and they said the samething as Redford cig lighter. i can also just push the cig lighter in and if they works then the fuse is good im assuming? but i have been wrong a few times in my life. thanks for the help fellas

Correct if the cig lighter works then there should be power to the OBD port.
