Bull bar attachment/use with a lifted truck?

Where exactly does a bull bar mount to? And if it's mounted on a truck with a body lift, will it sit too low?

Mounts where the tow hooks mount. With a 3 inch body lift it will look fine. If you look in my pictures I have my silver 02 supercrew with a bull bar and 3 inch body lift on there.
