Ignition coil help please!

Well I'm still new to restorations and I have a '66 econoline. I have the stock 6cylinder engine and a Petronix ignitor1 and recently bought the flame thrower coil to go with it. I just noticed that my coil is a 1.5 ohm and the box says to use a 3.0 in 6 cylinders unless using for racing applications. Unfortunately I don't have the receipt, will it hurt to use the 1.5? Any help is great, thanks

it will run with the 1.5 ohm coil, but i would put a 1.5 ohm ballast resistor in the hot line if it were mine.
