best place to buy a ranch hand style bumper?
Hey folks im in the market for a ranch hand style full front bumper replacement and was wondering where the best place to buy one is? It doesnt have to be ranch hand but like the looks of them more than others. I would like to find one used but in illinois they arnt that common like texas. I guess if anyone knows where to get a good deal on one id appreciate it. Thanks

Ranch Hand's website shows several dealers in the midwest; most in southern IL.
Ranch Hand | The #1 Source for Truck Accesories
CraigsList often has them.

are you looking for the protection of a Ranchhand or more the "look". If you're more interested in the look, there is a company called Trail FX that makes a bumper almost identical in looks to the RanchHand. It is a lot lighter than the Ranchhand, but doesn't look to be as sturdy. My local tire shop sells them and they said one for the new SD's is $599.

The closer you get to Texas the cheaper they'll be. I just got one earlier this year and I'll warn you to shop around - a local place here (Central Kansas) wants $1,250 not installed, I drove an hour and bought one for $900. I've seen places in Texas advertising them for a little over $800. They're not super hard to install, but I'll warn you they're HEAVY.

If I remember correctly, I paid $1100 for a brand-name Ranch Hand, installed.
The price was a little steep, but then again, I was buying for a 2007 truck in 2011. There were almost none available for a 2007 truck, and the factory had no immediate plans for a construction run. I did find it a little strange that they were so hard to find, being so close to the factory. Even the Texas outlet stores were bare. But they're ENORMOUSLY popular with the oilfield crowd; every Halliburton F250/350 in the whole state has a bright-red one.
Most stores that sell will also install, if not for free, then for $50-100.
