removing spray on undercoat from between panels
I've been removing dents and rust from a 81 super cab in preparation for swapping it onto my 90. The outside is rust free but when I cut a hole in the rear inner skin to access a dent I found tons of surface rust on the panels. I want to take care of all that with rust converter, likely using one of those 360 degree wands.
Before I can do that, there is some loose flaking undercoat like material that was sprayed on the inside of the outer skin, presumably to take the tinniness out of the panel.
What's the best way to get that out? I can't even see it all let alone reach with a drill/grinder/brush.

Thanks Beechkid. I've got a build thread in the 87-97 section but it's slooow going, I have a home to remodel, a huge stake of insulation to install in my garage which is also packed full of projects plus an 11mo son that needs fathering.
Ohhhh your "honey do" list is full!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nobody else has any input?
