Go with the Flowmaster...I have a 40 on my truck and it is great! My friend has a 50 and it has good sound on the outside and next to nothing on the inside.

Sorry, I'd go with the MagnaFlow. Simply the best sounding muffler. Great performance, too.

My votes for a duel outlet FlowMaster "Delta Flow" for your V8. Simply the best sounding, and deep throat low restriction HP Muffler on the road. It will turn heads, even on start up. FlowMaster does have a tendency to resonate a bit, but a soft interior, carpeted and good door seals, it should be good to go. However, I'm betting that you'll find yourself driving around with the windows open, just to hear that FlowMaster. They didn't get to be who they, if they had a second rate product line. You can go to the FlowMaster website, and down load sound samples of their mufflers installed on various vehicles. You might also pre-inquire at an authorized FlowMaster installers shop, as to alternative installation locations, to take the sound further toword the rear of the vehicle.

Flowmaster 50 will sound good. A buddy of mine had it on his 2001 F-150 w/4.6. Nice bark at startup, great sounding idle, quiet when cruising and sounds badass on acceleration.

I have to agree with cowboy2000 the flow master would be the best way to go.IM running a flowmaster 50 good start up sound and deep tune at shift point.you have no problem talking in the cab not like some were you have to scream at one another.

Well, I always did like a good "Rumble", so, I may have been hasty with my FlowMaster "Delta Flow's" recommendation, because the FlowMaster 50's are in fact, a super choice, and more in line with your application.

At least, the majority is so far, in agreement with the Brand.

I just put a Flowmaster 40 Delta Flow in replacing my stock muffler and get just enough added sound so I know the engine is running (That factory muffler musta been an offshoot of the USAF Stealth technologies labs or something) Maybe a little more throaty rumble when accellerating, but no resonance when running 70+ on the Interstate.
That's on an otherwise Stock 5.4L supercab and they used the stock exhaust pipe all the way, sounds GREAT to me.
