Manual v auto in a older 7.3

so is a manual tranny better in 95 7.3 than an auto, moving cross country need to tow a car
all advice welcome

The zf trans is stout. The clutch is the weak link.
The E4OD trans is also good, a chip helps with shifting a lot, but if stock power is good for you then I'd still suggest a shift kit or valvebody upgrade to make it shift better.

Towing a car, no difference. No issue at all.
Towing a 10-15k trailer... Different story
