Everyone with Bucket seats

What kind of seat bracket did you use? Do you have any pics? I know that mine are about perfect with a 2x4 under each side. I"m not sure what kind of bracket i wanna fab up... example: angle iron, tubing....

I built mine out of 1x1" square tubing. If the floor is flat where your seats will mount then you could use 1 1/2 x 1 1/2" or 1 x 1 1/2" square or rectangular tubing or 1 x 1 1/2" C channel.

The floor isn't really flat. A couple of raised areas.

F-100 seats

Hardened 2" square tubing, welded studs for the seat brackets and drilled thru for mounting to chassis. Otherwise I was sitting on the floor and could not see over the OEM 17" steering wheel. And I am 6'4" tall so it looked a little funny.

That's why I used 1x1 and spacers to compensate for the floor. I think there is a pic in one of my galleries (body mods).

My bucket sets were Honda Odessey second row seats, they were removable. I fabricated a mount so that my seats can be removed with little effort (to fat to work under the dash with the seats in place). So far they work just great.

Mine are in a panel,( leather caravan seats off craigslist for $25) I used the panel truck seat base for the drivers side and adapted the seat to it. Passenger side was caravan seat based shimmed to fit, didn't take much to make it work.
