Hypotheticly speaking, what would happen if you installed single shot injectors but did not change the factory tunes for split shots?

 

Not speaking hypothetically, but from the times I've seen it done, truck runs decent but idles like it has a big race cam and is a little on the embarrassing side.

 

Does it damage anything?

 

Nothing but your ego when you're sitting at the red light and everyone is staring at you.

 

No damage. I was told it was ok. I wouldn't run it for a long time. If you are waiting for tunes you should be fine. I ran mine for a day and as said it only idoles funny. Above idol mine ran fine with 200/30 SS Hybrids.

Anyone have any video? Now I am currios about how bad it idles.

I have no video butt mine sound's kinda like a gasser with a HUGE cam. Driving, it seemed to drive fine.

 

No problems with mine with 160cc/stock singles and stock tuning for about a week until my tunes came in. Like everyone says, the idle is a little funky. Anything above 1500 rpm worked perfectly for me.

Now try AD code split shots on an OBS with OBS single shot tuning... The truck will run like s@#t

Once you get your tunes it will be a totally different truck though.
