which ifs and rear setup with air ride for 56 panel
i'm starting to look at my options for mustang ii styles ifs, done loads of searching on here using the search button, but thought i would get a straight answer by just asking some questions, whats the difference between the 1st and 2nd gen mustang ii style ifs, cost isn't an issue, just want a setup that works with air very well, thing i will be using a mustang 8.8 rear end with a nice cruising gear, and a 32v modular engine with 4 speed auto, if that makes any difference, i want the panel to look like its sitting on its running boards but will be on the bump stops just above the ground as a safety measure so it can b moved should an airbag go out, i know the chassis will need to be cut to allow it to sit that low, i would like a nice ride when its at normal driving road height. as far as i know, the panel is 100% stock at the moment.

have you considered the mark 8 / crown vic front ifs units.
the drawback is you have to run the newer rims with the offset towards the frame. as the unit is about 1.5" wider than stock. using frame stiffening tubes for the mounting bolts and boxing the front after all the mods are prepared. then you have the choice of the mark 8 air ride parts or one of the after-market air ride systems.
PS: the mod engine motor mounts are included with the ifs unit.
