-How many miles would be left on the engine IF it was HIGHLY HIGHLY maintained and NOT run hard or abused?

I am kinda looking at one here locally that the asking price is $4k

Its an XLT SuperCab (4 doors) automatic and loaded and looks pretty nice.

MY gut is saying walk away.......haven't seen thetruck in person yet nor driven it.

175k in 10 years is 17,500 miles per year which to me is HIGH mileage......

IF this were an older 302 I'd say it was already shot and needed a rebuild........

 

You can't form a real opinion until you see and drive the truck.
Because of owner neglect/treatment good or bad, some rigs are DONE at 70,000, others might be sound until 400,000 or more.

4K is a lot of money to sink on a gamble IMO.
