Hello guys I have an 89 f250 with a 460 engine and c6 trans. I have a lower knock noise in the vacinity of the flexplate and oil pan. I recently changed the flexplate thinking it was cracked but i still have the noise. Its only really pronounced when the truck is in drive and steady throttle. It will not do it in park. The sound is knock almost rattle noise. Any thoughts?

 

Any thoughts? This is driving me nuts.

 

how is your Oil pressure ?

 

have you checked for any loose hardware. like heat shield or something along those lines

 

Oil pressure is good and i have looked long and hard to see if there is any thing loose but I cant find anything.
