I've used them quite a few times with no issue. Freight from the US is pricey! I know other forum users have secured some good deals sending stuff Fed Ex.

There are also some UStoAUS sea freight USAtoAUS | Locating American Cars for import
which was how I got my 4" turbo back exhaust system delivered.

The new (to me) truck is finally home, long weekend of driving but all worth it in the end. After a long search I finally purchased a 2005 supercab 4wd with 90000kms, new alloy tipper and Dobinsons suspension etc etc etc. She returned 16lts per hundred on the way home from Queensland, only problem was a slow leak in one front tyre unfortunately that leak ends up being a cracked rim not a puncture, so if anyone has one or a set of wheels I am keen to discuss especially if you are near Canberra... Now the fun begins

Thanks everyone for your input and knowledge so far.

Cheers,

Pat

Hi Pat,

I hope all goes well with it. I also bought my 2005 (CC) 4WD from Qld and drove it back to Canberra.

90,000kms, barely run in. Check service history and change all fluids if you can't establish when they were last done would be my first advice.

No spare wheel, I do have a set 0f 20" tyres, and of course the spare in the truck. The closest I came to buying another set of wheels was from the US with shipping via UAtoAUS, you could get a new set of 5 alloy wheels with caps and stud to Syd for A$1000.
