mistaken identity
After reassembling my 1971 f 350 dually with a 390 long block from Ne a power steering gearbox from La with pump n pulley from Az tie rods from Ct
and a variety of bushings from Ca I decided the manual transmission felt
sloppy so I bought a rebuild kit from Ca-- all the above worked out great--
but when I bought an idler gear and input shaft (on a just in case whim )
from here in Mo I failed to do my homework---So can anyone tell me to
which transmission are
C5TZ-7141-C IDLER GEAR and a
C4TZ-7017-A INPUT SHAFT
compatible
because that will become part of my next restore project---why you may ask
SO I DONT HAVE TO ADMIT TO MY WIFE THAT I SCREWED UP
