New stage 1's in the near future and it's time to rebuild my turbo. I am very interested in Barders' kit.
Yes good find.

Results?

So how did the build go? Interested in your results good or bad. I just bought the 360 thrust bearing from Barder for my Van Turbo build. Surprised I don't see more info around here on the 360 thrust bearing.

Jim Sanders did something like this.

He used a different housing.

I'm not sure If I wanna do this or a 366 at the moment.

I'm pretty sure I'ma be putting a turbo in somewhere in the next 6 months.

I picked up 360 Degree Thrust Bearing kit

Here's a couple pics of the 360 Degree thrust bearing I picked up from Barder Turbo http://www.barderturboservice.com. I don't work for them but I have heard good things from several people though. I believe the website says made in USA or UK. It appears to be of good quality. I have read where they can be steel or made of bronze. Bronze is supposed to allow for less heat transfer and the additional oiling will result in better reliability at higher boost levels.

Here is the Van Turbo I'm thinking of putting it in... http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/12...l#post13401068

I haven't taken any measurements to compare to the stock yet

Yes. There is nothing special about a D66. It's a stock turbo with stock turbin wheel, turbin housing, 360* bearing, 66mm compressor wheel, 66mm housing, and a different backing plate.
