hello all i bought a 2000 super duty a few weeks ago and im having an issue with the wipers. they only work on high and when they are working the door ajar light comes on??? also the dome light doesnt turn on but the reading lamps work and the windows have power all the time. any one have any of these issues or know how i might go about fixing them?

 

It sounds like the GEM module which is on top of the fuse box may be getting wet... take a look there for starters

 

I would also check the ground near the wiper motor. It grounds a good part of the truck as well

 

Thanks guys i pulled the gem out today and on the back written in big letters was NOT GOOD and when i opened it up someone had done some very poor soldering. Anyone know an affordable place to buy a new one?
