Broken frame mount for my shock

I have a 2000 F-150 and the left front shock busted completly through the frame where it is mounted on the top. There is no rust on the mount so this took me by complete surprise. My dad has been a mechanic and a Ford man all his life and he has never seen this happen. I wanted to see if anyone here has and if so is this a part I can buy somewhere or am I going to have to get something fabricated? I can't believe it busted through almost 1/4" steel.

Cut one off another truck and have it welded on... What were you jumping?

I found a welder that can take the job on. The parking lot at my office is full of pot holes and thats what did it in. I wish I was jumping something cause it would have been a lot more fun.
