I am having a problem with my 1972 truck here is whats happening I change the fuel pump and it started up and ran for awhile than it quit. I checked for spark and I didn't have any spark from the coil as it turns over but won't start can anyone help me with this problem so I can get my truck to run.

Do I need to get a new coil

 

not sure how to find out if this post is getting out to people but will try this again. Have a 1972 Ford F100 360 installed a new fuel pump started truck up it ran than I turn it off tried starting it next day and it would not start but turn over very good I than checked for spark found no spark from coil held coil wire against bolt on engine did not see any spark from coil so do I need a new coil would appreciate help on getting truck going thanks
