NEW TRUCK ARRIVES!

Ordered her on March 26th and took her home today. She was built last Wednesday. She is a beauty and will post pixs in the next few days, promise. Will get my tech savvy son to help me. She is real head turner. The 6.2/4.30 combo was really the way to go. Lots of power and torque. Great off the line. The 20"premium aluminum wheels look gorgeous. Nice throaty exhaust. Thanks again for all the input , particularly on gear selection issue. I am a happy man.

I'm envious, I ordered on the 8th of March and it's not even built yet. It's scheduled for Monday the 29th but I don't think I will get here in a couple of days like your did, you must live close to the KY plant.

Congrats on the new truck

Denny

The 6.2 and 4.30s kick-***.

WTF, what do you mean by the 6.2 and 4:30's kick ***. I need specifics, I really want to know how it compares to the 3v v10.

So far, I've got 140 miles on it with no towing and I've been taking it easy. I have no experience with the 3 valve 10 cylinder (other than one in my Dad's motor home, which he hated for its mileage), but having driven both the 3.73 and 4.30 gears with the 6.2, the truck's a hot-rod with the 4.30s.

Hopefully we'll have another 3valve V10 at the Ohio meet. Jason's (Quad Racer) 3v V10truck did great, but pulling the same trailer at the last Ohio meet, I think my truck was maybe 9-10mph faster? I don't remember exactly.

Should be interesting this year with my 35" tires and 5 star tune.
