Use a steamer to loosen the tint and then peel it off.

When I took the tint off of my windows, I used a heat gun, razor blades, and a lot of time. I also used some window cleaner from a company called Spray Way, I believe, to get whatever adhesive was left.

I pealed mine then used goo gone. you can get it most grocery stores or hardware stores. Let it sit on window to sink in and then just remove. I used the bottle the spray dies not seem as strong

Goo Gone, 3oz

It gets all the stickies off most everything, it makes all nice and orange spelling

I just used a sticker remover (it uses the old-style razors) and some soapy water. I would use a steamer or heat gun if the tinted paper has been on the windows for a very long time. I just replaced the 4yo tinted paper and it came out mostly entire, which is what you want to happen.

I know what NOT to use...

Brake cleaner
Aircraft paint stripper
Mineral spirits
Windex (ammonia)
Gasoline

None of those would touch it. Guess I'll have to use a razor blade.

Heat and a razor blade. Soapy water to help the blade move across the glass easier.

^^

This. Then use window cleaner, soap and water, whatever spray cleaner you have handy to spray down the glue that's left. Let it soak a little, they use your razor scraper to get the glue off. Keep the window wet while you're scraping.

Add at least a 6-pack of beer to the materials list.
