Winshield wiper tests?

Winshield wiper tests?
Hey guys,
Finally going to have a little time tomorrow morning to get my truck in the shop and diagnose/fix some known issues.
One of the big ones is my wipers not working. I read up some on it and checked out the motor itself. I don't think it is this.
I'm leaning towards the controller or switch itself, but more hoping its just a bad ground behind the dash.
Right now the wipers are stuck in the up position (full sweep) and will not repsond to a thing. They are intermitten wipers and when you select a position you can hear a bunch of clicking but nothing moves. Previously they would work intermittenly.
Any suggestion on how to test this system?
Thanks
-Jason

I'm not sure on yours, but as I recall wiper motors have power directly to them with a built-in switch riding a cam on the shaft so that they will continue running to the park position regardless of when the cab switch is turned off. If they won't park, I'd be looking at the motor, or the constant power supplied to the motor...

First thing I would do is test for voltage at the wiper motor and the switches and see what happens what changes when you play with the switch.
There is a box under the dash that connects to the switch that works the intermittent settings. Its very common for some of the solder joints on the circuit board to fail or crack. Then the intermittent part at least stops working, possibly everything... I had that happen on mine, found the fix either here, or somewhere else online, popped it open, redid the solder joints, and its worked well since. Every now and then something craps out though, and the wipers will stop. If I smack the bottom of the dash, they start up again, I think its some sort of a loose connection, but haven't found it.

Ok so I checked it out and heres what I got
Battery voltage at the black connector red wire when igntion on.
Other two wires nothing (figure these are signal for park?)
On the greyish whitish connector I have:
Battery voltage when on slow wiper position on whitish looking wire only
Battery voltage at whitish wire and black with pinkish tracer on fast position
Battery voltage at whitish wire at intermitten setting, does not vary with change of intermitten setting.
So do I got a bad motor? I cleaned up the ground for the switch because it had a poor contact but I still have no wipers.
Anyone have a wiring diagram? I'd have this thing done already if i had one
