May, 2013 Junk Yard Wishlist
This was a neat idea, thanks again to lgwilson for suggesting this!
Last month's will be closed.
Post your wants & needs here, even if they were on last month's list; there's enough chatter on the old one it gets hard to know if somebody is still needing a part or not without reading through the entire thing.
Please keep monetary-transaction talk amongst yourselves - in PMs or e-mail.
It's fine if we want to give/sell things to each other but we can't be running a Flea Market or Auction House here, that's against the spirit of what we do here - people helping each other.

The diesel filler necks will fit fine, that's what is on mine, a set from a 1996 diesel dually. They do not have the unleaded fuel restrictor though. On the dually 87-96/7 are the same. Archion put a set of 1990 gas engine filler necks on his 86 F-150.

I know they fit, just wasn't sure if they would be acceptable. As stated, they have a bigger hole instead of using the smaller gasoline hole. I am assuming you want to get away from the small hose in the center...

If your askin me im just wanting to fill up in under 10 minutes. Was told the later necks flowed better and didnt kick off the pump if you go over the first notch on the pump.

The difference is the way the fill/vent is run inside the filler hose. 1980-86 the fuel runs down the hose and the vent is a 3/4" plastic tube down the center. On the 1987-96/7 the fuel runs down a 1" plastic tube and the vent is in the outside hose.
On the 80-86 the gas splashes over the vent tube causing it to "burp" gas out. Mine fills a lot faster with the 1996 filler necks.

I am in need of the 4 pin plug that goes on the fuel pump hanger/fuel level sensor on trucks newer that 85 with electric pumps. Just need the part that plugs on with enough wire to be able to hook it up.

I should still have the two from mine. The only problem is I am on Virginia's Eastern Shore and the old wiring harness is in Newport News, 1 1/2 hours and two bridge tunnels, one of which is a $12 or $17 toll depending on the vehicle.
