When I order parts what should I specify

Forgot to ask the question

First thing is what year do you have and what motor size?
There is no 5L between 97 and 2003.
If you can't tell a parts counter what you have, they can't guess either.
Good luck.

If you have a V8 you either have a 4.6 or a 5.4.
The VIN of your truck and the codes on the sticker that's placed at the driver side when you open your door should give plenty of info.
