2006 F-350 6.0 Trailer Aux Fuses and Relays Where?
I have a new to me 2006 F-350 DRW 6.0L pickup. When I hook the pickup to my horse trailer or livestock trailer I have no aux power, all the lights and brakes work. Through a bit of investigation my best guess is that I need to install a relay and\or fuses that may not have been factory installed. My problem is that I can't seem to find any specific information for my pickup as to what I need to check.
From what I can find some Fords have relays\fuses in the kick panel, I can't find this on my pickup but I did find the box inside the engine compartment on the drivers side and it is missing some relays\fuses. Can someone please tell me what fuses\relays I should check and where they are located?
Thanks.

If it's a factory brake controller, they are in the kick panel under the steering wheel. Th e whole panel comes out, another fuse box inside. Look for the 30 amp fuses and check them all. They come installed with a brake controller, if non stock, then u will have to trace wire.

Just wanted to say thank you for posting those pics of the Central Junction Box,(CJB), now called a Smart Junction Box,(SJB, newer models) (the fuse panel under dash) and the Power Distribution Box,(PDB) (the fuse panel under hood) You really saved me a bunch. Too many idiots are posting wrong years for wiring diagrams so finding out which fuse is which without the owners manual with Ford is a nightmare, even when you work for Ford lol.
I've printed your photos and have given them to the owner of the truck to keep in his glove-box so next time I have an electrical issue for him to deal with, at least I know I'll have accurate information to go off of. I strongly recommend if you have an 2005 F350SD to trust this post as it is accurate, unless you have different features, but for the most part this is good and reliable
