timing cover reverse flow option?

timing cover reverse flow option?

i didnt know there was a difference. i was about to buy a new cover, but i dont want to get the wrong part. here is a link to the 2 different options i have for buying a new timing cover. Timing Cover | 1994 Ford F150 1/2 ton P/U 2WD 8 Cylinders N 5.0L MFI | AutoZone.com

are they the same part, just labled different?? have a 1994 f150 5.0EFI MAF truck. is there also a reverse flow water pump i need to get? Sheesh! i looked for an answer to this but came up dry

Should be the same timing cover. I've used both standard and reverse water pumps on the older covers. I don't think there is a difference until you try to use the explorer or the 94/5 mustang or 89-93 tbird on the truck.

ok cool thanks man.
found one for $50 on ebay new and gasket set is like $13 at autozone
