Auxiliary Relay Box

Could someone direct me to the location of my Auxiliary Relay box on my 2001 Ford Ranger 4wd Ext.Cab?I have the factory shop manuals but they do not show its location.The fuse box is easy to fine,so is the battery junction box.But where is the Auxiliary Relay box? I need to check the
C1022 Interior Lighting relay.Thanks.

That relay box is located inside the cab, underneath the steering column. It has maybe 5-6 relays inside of it...

One more question Rockledge. Is its location behind the dash under the steering column or under the steering column just the other side of the
steering wheel? Thanks.Rangerwilly

It's mounted underneath the dash just to the right of the steering column, in the area above the gas pedal. It's the only relay box in that area that's large enough to house 5-6 relays. You can confirm it's the right box by taking note of the colors of the wires leading in and out.
