FWIW the Pogue carburetor does work albeit not as advertised. A friend and I built one for his 73 F100. He had already put a 351 Cleveland in it and we saw the hype for the Pogue Carb. He got it to run but we couldn't control the engine heat. On the level it would be OK but any increase on the load and the engine temp would rise, sometimes dramatically. I don't remember what his mpg was but it was a bit better than his original 10 or 11 with the Cleveland. Certainly not anywhere near 20 mpg, never mind the claimed 200 mpg Pogue said he got with his. The engine didn't live very long as he was a lead foot kind of fellow and maybe because it was running too lean. I don't know, it was a long time ago and I didn't understand about timing, lean engines, extra cooling etc back then.

Thanks! I'll be editing my first post with another photo tonight. One thing I forgot about, is that the fuel level sensor grounds to the hanger bracket. Extending the lines removes that ground, so I'll need to add a wire in, so that the fuel level sensor works.
Wouldnt it have been easier to use a fuel pump for a 38 gallon capacity tank off a bronco?

Bronco tank is deeper, and will bottom out in an f26 tank.
Spectre supplies the stuff needed to extend the stock tank pickup and pump to work with the f26 tank.
Only real source for bronco pickup and stuff is junkyard. I've seen off and on new ones, but they are 4-500 bucks, or they are back ordered.

Bronco tank isn't 38 gallon, it's closer to 33. F26 tank is around 38 I'm pretty sure.

If I can get out from under the present projects I am working on this is the first major upgrade I am doing on my 1995 Ford Crew Cab(Centurion) 4x4 1/2t. Nice that all of the needed Parts Info is archived here. Thank you Bob and all others.

Been studying this thread and Foxboss9’s video based on it while preparing for this myself in lieu of just replacing my rear tanks fuel pump due to cross filling and I did not see this solution posted or discussed. I have an idea to improve the sending unit’s accuracy for this conversion. I am unsure if there is something physically preventing this as I do not have any parts in hand as of yet and am going by these photos and pictures of 32-gallon Bronco fuel pump assemblies, I cannot locate a complete Bronco fuel pump with hanger and sending unit new for my budget (I prefer to pay less than 150). It appears to me that the sending units are very similar but with the key difference being the arm length and location on the assembly. It seems like the bronco unit allows for the center of the sending unit to be closer to the midpoint of the fuel tank when installed and it looks like from photos I can mount the new sending unit from the spectra premium SP2007H above the pump like on a bronco and make a simple tab to connect to the hanger’s bracket where it was previously supported.

That should increase the rigidity of the extended assembly similar to the aluminum piece that Foxboss9 used and allow for the sending unit to be grounded to the hanger as it originally was. Combine that with an extended float arm and the sending unit should read better between empty and full. I suspect that if the sending unit is centered to tank when installed (even at that angle) it would only be the middle dimension of the arm that would change in length (referring to the SP2007H sending unit). Also looking at a photo of the ROADFAR sp2005H unit from Amazon (better photo of the sending units mounting), I am getting the idea, I could cut up the fuel pumps shell from my original unit to make/transfer the mount I am suggesting if I determine it would be centered enough to suit my desires. I am liking this idea as I plan this in my head as there would be no incompatible materials if existing ones are reused. Speaking of which, Foxboss9’s video left me wondering if there are any materials that should not be used in gasoline/E10.

I will try to take a few pictures and post them if I do this and it pans out. I suspect it may look ugly in the end but its hidden inside on the tank. I wish I could thank Mr. Gervais for his work.
