I was using these alt-key combinations when the founders of CIA-book....er....Facebook were learning to use the potty. But I'm shocked.... shocked that no one has yet mentioned ALT-130, which allows us to properly address our illustrious fellow member, the good doctor José. Speaking of which, hmm, what alt-combo creates the umlaut over the O?.....
I still haven't heard of any connection between any coolant temp sensor or switch and the PCM. There most certainly isn't one in the '95 trucks, per the EVTM. It's possible that with the air pocket or whatever else was going on with the cooling system, the engine got hot enough that the EOT sensor, correctly, reported an extremely high OIL temp, which the PCM used as the criterion to shut down the engine.
