Broken down in Greensboro NC

Anyone nearby willing to make a parts run?
I'm on exit ramp 21 or 22. Sign says Greensboro to left, Sanford to right.
I think mu waterpump is trashed, coolant all over the engine compartment.
I have one with me and tools but forgot hose clamps and some look real iffy.
if you're close and willing tp lend a hand PM me your phone number. I'll check back periodocally.
Thanks.

Just to let you know, I went ahead and copied your thread and posted it here in the NC Chapter as well. You might get help a little quicker here.

Which road are you on so we can try to get ahold of some local members that way? Also what is the closest town to you. I might could get the comercial sales here in town to call an adveance auto close to you and see if they could pick you up.

Well, I'm at Casey's Towing on Sussmans St in Greensboro.
I got the water pump off but 3 bolts snapped off so I got towed here since thst wasn't something I could fix beside the rd.
One goes in to the block. not sure if the other two only go in to the cover or in to the block. O'Reilly's is delivering parts in a bit, including a front cover in case I need it.
I think I'm in good shape. Hopefully we can get it back together today so I don't have to get a motel room.

Hope you get it fixed up and back on the road. Keep us posted. There are some members out that way. We might not be the most lively group but there are some good, helpful, and knowledgeable folks here in the NC chapter.

Take care.

My apologies for never updating.
Got it back together the next day, longer job than I'd hoped, so I did have to spend the night in a fleabag motel.
Was able to reuse the front cover by using a thread insert for one of the holes. O'Reilly's was cool about taking back the cover I bought even though it was a special order from the warehouse. Kudo's to them.
(They were even willing to deliver me parts beside the road when I explained my situation).

Finally, the owner of and people at Casey's Towing were FANTASTIC. Because of my situation (out of work and one the way from Atlanta to see my mom who was in the hospital in northern VA) they let me use one of their bays, gave me a ride to a local bolt supply house for needed bolts and only charged me for the actual towing.
I can't say enough about how great they are there.

I'll have to remember Casey's towing, heaven forbid, I break down in that area. They only have one online review. Do y'all think it would be inappropriate to link this thread on Google?
