Is the radio itself aftermarket? If so, I would decommission it as well. First step (well, besides the simple stuff like the glove box light) with an electrical problem like this, esp. of this magnitude, is to decommission all aftermarket electrical stuff.

Don't care at all. As long as the radio plays, that is all I care about. I will look at the wiring diagrahms, and then possibly pull the radio to check for anything there... Glove light checked, not staying on but will watch it, but don't know that it would cause that much draw.
Most you are drawing is .390 amp ??, from your description: that is about what a light bulb would consume.

I forgot that I had that glovebox lamp issue more than a decade ago but that 0.39 amps is a 4.6 watt draw. Good catch.
