Hey all, I know there has been many post on subs in our SDs, but I'm looking to fit one 12" shallow sub under the rear bench. Reason being I have my off road jack behind the seat and existing crappy audiophile sub. I wanted to build a box to fit under the pass side with amps next to it and build a storage bin that the seat acts as a cover. i know they sell boxes for behind seat and storage bin for under but id rather build something. If anyone has done this before let me know or has input.

Thought about doing that as well. It seemed the only way was to lift seat. I was thinking about having local shop build box but they wanted five bills plus almost 2" lift on seat. Pass.

 

yes you can but there is not enough cubic feet under the seat. you can get more cubic feet from behind the seat. or you can do what i am going to do and get like four of these and have them fire forward you should not be disappointed...

I ended up making my own box with one 12" pioneer sub that fits behind the seat with amps. The offroad jack was thrown in the tool box and I'm making a storage bin under the seat
